Embark on a spectacular 21-day sailing adventure from Exmouth to Darwin, navigating the untamed beauty of Australia’s northern coast. This extraordinary expedition takes you through rugged landscapes, thriving marine sanctuaries, and rich cultural heritage, offering a journey like no other.

Departing from Exmouth, we set course for the Montebello Islands, once a nuclear test site, now a flourishing marine and bird sanctuary. Sailing onward, discover Dampier’s striking coastline and Depuch Island’s ancient Indigenous rock engravings, before arriving in Broome, where the red desert meets the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

The adventure continues along the Kimberley coast, where towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls define the King George and Berkeley Rivers. At Bigge Island, explore ancient Indigenous rock art, then immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Mitchell River and Surveyors Creek. Uncover WWII relics in Vansittart Bay, witness the spectacle of Glycosmis Falls, and anchor in the serene waters of Pangali Cove.

Sail past Augustus Island and Langii, where deep cultural history meets stunning coastal landscapes, and unwind in the peaceful surroundings of Sheep Island. Witness the historic boab tree at Careening Bay, explore the rugged cliffs of Cape Leveque, and marvel at the striking formations of Sale River and Red Cone Hill. At Montgomery Reef, watch the ocean recede, unveiling a hidden underwater world, before experiencing the powerful tidal surges of the awe-inspiring Horizontal Falls.

Continuing through St George Basin and Collier Bay, we visit King Cascade and Cathedral Falls, before reaching the remote Ashmore and Scott Reefs, offering unparalleled snorkelling and diving in pristine coral ecosystems. As we arrive in Darwin, a vibrant city rich in Indigenous and wartime history, this extraordinary journey comes to an end, leaving you with a profound connection to Australia’s wild and remote northwest coast.
